Lone Pine Colony's farm turkey is raised humanely, free run, fed homegrown grain only, no animal or soy products, no antibiotics, no hormones. The Turkey is ready to be thawed, seasoned, and transformed into a delicious centerpiece for a special family dinner.
Approximate weight:
Medium: ~7-7.9kg - 10-12 people
Large: ~ 8-8.9kg - 12-14 people
The weight will be as close to advertised but the birds do fluctuate in size so may not be exact. All weights are approximate.
Serving/Cooking suggestion: Thaw turkey and season with your favorite herbs and spices. Cook to 170 degrees Fahrenheit or 77 degrees Celsius when the thermometer is inserted in the thickest part of the breast. Perfect choice for feasts or special occasions or as an affordable choice for family meals. The breast meat freezes well to use in sandwiches, salads or casseroles. The carcass makes flavorful, nutritious, rich stock for outstanding soup.
