Preparation

  1. Brush a 13 × 9-inch baking dish with melted butter. Add the muffin cubes, bacon, tomatoes, and green onions. Gently toss to combine.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk, remaining butter, cream, parsley, mustard, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the bread mixture and sprinkle with both cheeses. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Remove the casserole from the refrigerator 45 minutes before baking. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
